Boris and Elisa are a young couple who booked their future home by the Garibaldina Cooperative in September 2005, giving as deposit all their savings. Garibaldina advised that home should be delivered in March 2006, so Boris and Elisa should (and wanted to) marry in that spring… seeing the Cooperative’s promises and being enthusiastic for the home thay have just “bought”, they ran to buy furniture, formal dresses, and to search for the restaurant for the party, organizing this marriage in all the particoulars…
Garibaldina postponed the presumed delivery home dates a lot of times and so this couple had to postpone their weeding date for 3 times, with all the problems, discomforts and expenses that follow!!!! In these last two years, every week, this couple pass in front of the construction site, hoping to see that works go ahead… but often, also during entire months, the status of the constructions site didn’t change for anything! They also realized that the quality of the work was not the one promised by the Cooperative and also the terms were changed!!! So they began complaining and keeping on phoning to the Cooperative (better to their answering machine…), but these calls never received a call-back.. so they began writing certified mails through a lawyer… but nothing has been solved the same…
In winter 2007, after several efforts, they finally succeded in having a meeting with President Malabarba, who spent with them a lot of beautiful words and gave them some hopes to close this situation quickly, but it seems that he just said a lot of nonsenses, playing along with them!

Now we are in spring 2008 and which is the result? Garibaldina went bankrupt and this couple is still waiting to have their home, the bank loan grows in an exponential matter, they lost the possibility to have a regional contribute for young couples, furniture are in a depot with fee from 2 years, they are ina a bad mood, but they are trying not to give up and to find anyone can help them!
THANKS TO GARIBALDINA COOPERATIVE!! YOU DESTROIED DREAMD OF TWO YOUNGS, WHO JUST WANTED TO MARRY AND BUY A HOME THROUGH A COOPERATIVE WHICH WAS PROMISING NOT SO MUCH!!!
